    Senior Designer

We are looking for an integrated Senior Designer to join an award winning organisation in North Dorset. With a studio set in a breath-taking location that’s commutable from Bath and Bournemouth, this is a chance to come on board with one of the most exciting organisations in the area. What you’ll be doing Reporting in to the Creative Head, and working closely with Artwork and Project Managers, you’ll be delivering creative from concepts all the way through to production on solutions across all customer facing channels to an exceptional standard. As the organisation looks to bridge the gap between their online and offline offering you’ll be working in a multidisciplinary design role across POS, packaging and digital assets such as web banners, landing pages and social media assets. As an ideas-led creative, you’ll tell the brands story by translating their visual identity across integrated channels, and will help lead the design team to execute your concepts to the finest standard. That said, you’re a natural when it comes to leading on projects, scheduling workflow, and building relationships. No two days will be the same, as you will collaborate with the Head of Creative when required, which will often involve the Art Direction and organisation of regular photoshoots to produce product imagery, so ideally you’re familiar with a similar environment! What experience you’ll need to apply At least a few years’ integrated design experience in a commercial context. A portfolio full of examples of print and digital design work, including Packaging. Ideas led, and able to talk through your conceptual process. Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). A natural project manager, with prior experience leading on projects. Confident guiding junior members of a creative team. Experience using After Effects a bonus.     eCommerce Manager

Hands-on and strategic role.  Flexible working is considered.  A pivotal role within this thriving, multi-channel retailer, the eCommerce Manager is responsible for the trading performance and customer experience of the website. The site is seeing growth, but the business is now seeking an experienced eCommerce expert who would relish the opportunity to focus on delivering substantial growth through this channel.  What youll be doing  The eCommerce Manager will own all aspects of the website experience, and be responsible for delivering against targets and managing budgets.  Day to day, youll need to be both strategic and hands-on; from implementing PPC & SEO campaigns, managing online content, and using Google Analytics to continuously improve the customer journey, to identifying and recommending a new site platform to take the eCommerce proposition to the next level.  Youll use your commercial mind-set to deliver a winning trading strategy which drives online conversion rates, and provide relevant insights to the wider business on performance and customer response to trade initiatives.  A large part of your role will involve working with and communicating effectively with stakeholders. For example, youll work with the digital marketing coordinator to plan and deliver email & social media campaigns, and support the Operations Manager in implementing a robust trading forecast for online demand and KPIs by season. Youll also be the key influencer in business projects that impact the website.  Finally, youll be expected to stay abreast of best practice and the latest industry developments, suggesting ways to improve the website based on this.    What experience youll need to apply Experience in ecommerce trading, ideally within an FMCG business.  Proven track record of delivering online sales growth within the UK market Experience of managing people & working with external agencies to implement projects. Key understanding of web analytics; tools, reporting and insights.   Experience of optimising websites for good SEO performance.  Strong commercial acumen; a hunger to identify opportunities to improve performance and overall online sales growth Experience of content management, social media and copywriting with an attention to detail A credible, confident approach to problem solving. A good communicator and team player who must be prepared to roll up their sleeves. A friendly and collaborative working environment too, where everyone is really passionate about eCommerce and Digital.  What you'll be doing The roles will vary depending on your level of experience, however, both are hands-on so there are some elements where similar skills are required. Joining an established team of 8 within eCommerce, you'll report into the eCommerce Manager and work alongside other Online Merchandisers to optimise the overall customer journey. Being pureplay this is massively important to the team, therefore really rewarding that your efforts to drive conversions will deliver significant commercial outcomes.  There is a continual process of analysis and implementation in the Online Merchandising team. Youll ensure that the product imagery and text are correct, uploading content through the Magento CMS and writing SEO friendly product descriptions. Content writers are also on hand for bigger projects. This requires real attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple spreadsheets to organise your categories effectively.  The more strategic aspect of this role, which will form a great element of the Senior eCommerce Merchandiser position, is the ability to draw insights from the analytics data on customer behaviour. What categories are doing well, and which products are underperforming - and why is that? Youll have a real curiosity in diving into customer data and using this to drive overall strategy. More senior members will be comfortable discussing weekly and monthly performance with stakeholders across the business.  What experience you'll need Online merchandising experience from an eCommerce setting.  Given the close attention to data in both roles, someone who is really confident in managing spreadsheets and using this to handle data is key (the team love a good spreadsheet!). Being comfortable with various formulae and techniques such as vlookups.  Fantastic attention to detail, especially with imagery and product descriptions.  Good commercial awareness and understanding of how eCommerce Merchandising impacts online turnover.  Excellent problem solving ability and a passion to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.  A massive passion for eCommerce! They are a lively bunch who are constantly sharing ideas, debating and being creative.  Knowledge of the following tools would be ideal: Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and extra points for Magento experience! What youll be doing Reporting into the Digital Marketing Director and managing 1 other executive in the team, your role will be split between line management (tied in with hands-on work), strategy, new business pitches and growing the SEO team with future hires. With an enviable client list, this is a great role for an established SEO professional to take a step up and drive the broader strategic / team leadership elements they may not have exposure to. Youll mentor an SEO Manager and SEO Executive in all things biddable media, also educating them on best practice and planning their time based on the strategic goals of the team and business.
