Here is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing business in central Bristol as their new Senior Conference Producer.  Producing a number of conferences on an interesting and creative topic area you will manage the end to end delivery of these within a commercial B2B environment.  What you'll be doing You will research and produce high quality and innovative agendas for a small portfolio of marketing conferences.  Initially you will research industry topics and keep abreast of the latest industry trends to identify key content ideas that will entice delegates to the shows.  You will assume full project ownership of each event from a content perspective and will begin sourcing, selecting and securing industry leading speakers to attend and participate in the shows.  You will use a range of methods to attract this talent, through phone calls, networking, face to face meets and utilising existing contacts.  As a creative content creator, you will will bring the agenda to life through enticing copy across a number of channels, promoting the events through digital channels such as the website, targeted email campaigns and social media management, as well as running peripheral events such as roundtables and breakfast briefings.  You will also work closely with the sales team on commercial content such as whitepapers, webinars and reports to help hit content revenue targets. Managing the two Journalists you will plan, research and ensure execution of great content to begin converting readers in to delegates.  You will then ultimately be responsible for the onsite delivery of content during the events through meticulous on-site execution of the conferences to exceptional customer standards. They’re looking for an experienced Head of Digital Marketing to drive their digital performance across multiple channels. This opportunity can be based either in the Gloucestershire HQ or in central London with travel once a week to the HQ, on either a permanent or contract basis. What you’ll be doing In this role, you'll oversee the digital marketing strategy for four distinct brands across PPC, SEO, Display, Retargeting, Affiliate and Paid Social channels. Reporting into the Director of eCommerce, you'll have a direct team of 3 under you, external agencies and suppliers to manage as well as responsibility for a 7-figure budget. With a bunch of exciting projects due to kick off imminently, this is a great time to be joining them!  What experience you’ll need  Proven full-stack web development background with a focus on front-end.  Knowledge of front-end JavaScript, specifically with VueJS/Nuxt or something similar. Vanilla JS would also be useful.  An eye for UI and flair for usability.  Awareness of various templating tools (such as Twig). Experience with a CMS; preferably Craft but open to others.  Understanding of PHP (and ideally Laravel) on the back-end. The Online Merchandiser role will involve optimising the look and feel of the website, in turn helping customers find what they need to drive conversions.  What you’ll be doing The eCommerce and Digital team here is around 10 people strong, consisting of a Head of eCommerce, Email Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and additional staff across the main channels. This role will slot between them and focus on ensuring the website is optimised effectively through merchandising – you’ll create promotional content, manage product categories, set up new products, ensure photography is optimal, conduct content reviews and more.
