    Established global brand. Highly collaborative multidisciplinary team. State of the art studio/facilities. We’re on the look-out for a top-notch Art Director in the photography/imaging space. With a broad offering that explores everything visual they’re interested in conceptually minded, creative individuals with a passion for lens-based media. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Photographic Art Director (outside of London!) looking for an innovative business to call home. This is a permanent position however, we will consider applications on a freelance basis.What you’ll be doing Are you an Art Director working in the photography sector? Then this role could be for you! I’m looking for a Photographic Art Director to join one of the most sought after businesses in the region. With incredible studio facilities and a creative environment like no other, this is an opportunity to be part of something huge!Coming on board as an experienced Art Director, you’ll already be a creative powerhouse; you’ll help develop the brands visual presence through photography, moving image and even some 3D imaging from time to time. Naturally, you’ll be conceptually driven in everything you do, working closely with imagery producers, photographers and video specialists, you’ll spend your time scamping, storyboarding and directing photoshoots through to final polished photographic productions.There’s no doubt you’ll be passionate about photography and image making within a commercial context. With this being a unique role, you’ll need to have a meticulous eye for detail across composition, technical lighting set-ups and colour; paired with exceptional storytelling ability through static imagery. Collaboration is encouraged here, so it goes without saying you’ll be a people person who can build/maintain relationships with the wider creative teams within the business.Not only will you be working with some exceptional creative talent you’ll be assisting in promoting the brands’ visual identity & amazing culture on a global scale.  What experience you’ll need to apply Solid understanding of photographic lighting, both studio & on location. Conceptually driven in everything you do. Storyboarding photoshoots. Working knowledge of Photoshop. Have retouching experience. Understanding of RGB/CMYK colour profiles/workflows. Team player who thrives on collaboration. Punctual & works well under pressure. This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of the biggest high street brands within the FMCG sector.What you'll be doingWorking within a team of 5 designers youll be researching and using current trend knowledge to produce bespoke giftware designs to be rolled out across high street retailers.With a very hands-on approach, you wont be afraid of getting stuck in with physical sample development. On the flip side, youll confidentially use Adobe Creative Suite to digitally visualise concepts to final designs through to artworking.Essentially we arent looking for someone with heaps of experience, just someone with a passion for all things design, fresh ideas and a clear interest in the gifting industry.
