    Senior Software Engineer

This is the opportunity to join a small but international company as they further develop their automated financial CRM. Having just been through series A funding there in a prime position to grow out the team. What you’ll be doing Working with cutting-edge technology, and a team eager to find even better approaches you'll help to further develop the platform and suggest new practices. You'll be reporting directly to the CTO who is very agnostic with your skills coming in. Predominantly working with Kotlin but are happy with any functional programming background. The system is a microservices architecture orchestrated via Kubernetes and hosted in Azure its an event-driven architecture with Kafka, enabling an event sourcing approach. So we are looking so someone who is an expert in either microservices or event-driven Architecture, although, a strong passion will suffice! The teams are small, cross-functional, DevOps teams working with pair programming with a strong focus on automation to reduce cycle time and a philosophy of keeping things as simple as they can be. What experience you’ll need to apply Expertise in event-driven architecture or microservices. You will be involved in varied projects using a range of technology to deliver high end solutions to a range of clients, in various industries. What you will be doing: The embedded software engineers will be involved in conception, design, development, coding, testing and debugging of complex software solutions. You will need to have experience with embedded system development and candidates with experience of cyber security will particularly suit this role. Due to the nature of the work, all candidates will need to be able to obtain and maintain UK security clearance. What experience/skills you will need: Real time C/C User interface design (C#, .NET, QT) Scripting in Python, Bash etc Network communications protocols (TCP/IP, ARP) Unit and system testing frameworks  What you’ll get in return for your experience On top of a salary paying up to £60K depending on experience, you will have private healthcare, a bonus scheme as well as away days, a generous pension and 25 days annual leave and more.
