This role comes at an exciting time of growth for the business. What you’ll be doing Independent and operating for over 20 years this Bristol based agency has been bringing integrated design solutions to big name brands in technology, financial services and education (amongst others). Over the past few years the team have honed their digital skills and delivered a number of major projects in this space, this new role along with other key hires across account management, creative and planning represent an exciting period of growth for them. In this role you’ll provide creative direction for digital across a wide variety of touchpoints; whether it’s large scale digital systems, creative campaigns or brand activation. You’ll be able to spot opportunities with existing clients as well as help the agency win increasingly large scale and complex digital briefs. You’ll work with an experienced team of creatives and support with hands on management, creative guidance and mentoring. As well as providing senior and strategic support you’ll get hands on when needed to lead the team from the front.   This role comes at an exciting time for the agency; you’ll work with a great team and have the opportunity to help carve out a newly refined digital offering for the agency. You will be the expert in digital and be afforded all the support to lead the way creatively and strategically in this space. What experience you’ll need to be considered A Creative Director with a proven background in digital. Broad digital experience including campaign, web design and build, app and UX. Engaged within the wider digital community, aware of the latest trends and passionate about technology. Experience of managing creative teams.     Lead Digital Designer

What you’ll be doing This is a unique role with great opportunity to lead and expand the agencies’ creative offering. After a recent rebrand this small agency has ambitious growth plans, so this is your chance to play a key part in getting to know their existing clients and deliver projects for their growing client base. You’ll report into and work closely with the Creative Director and the senior team to produce pixel perfect designs from concept to execution across a range of digital channels. Typical projects could include anything from branding and development, to full web builds, web apps, landing pages and occasionally some print. With a strong digital focus on projects, and some projects with an element of CRM, it’s essential you’re familiar with UX design principles to ensure a user centred approach to your designs, in order to optimise the flow of traffic to each site. Ideally, you’re familiar with wireframing to map out your designs and have experience working with both CMS systems and handing designs over to developers. This is a small agency environment, so we’re looking for a switched-on creative who can lead on projects end-to-end and step in for the Creative Director when required. That said, you’ll also be confident communicating with clients and presenting your ideas. What experience you’ll need to apply You'll need at least a few years’ experience, some within an agency. A portfolio that showcases your digital design and polished UI skills, including polished UI designs (Brand application across various digital channels including response web) A natural communicator, comfortable pitching and presenting to clients. Are you bridging that unique gap between designer and developer?  This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Creative Developer to join an ambitious and growing agency in Bristol.  If this is your niche area, then this could be the role for you. What you’ll need An ability to translate client ideas, content and brand into visually powerful and immersive experiences A desire to learn and explore new creative tools specifically for creating touchscreen experiences e.g., Ventuz Experience and sound working knowledge of JavaScript incl.
