    Senior Embedded Software Engineer

      Wiltshire based company Working with major blue chip companies Highly skilled team Flexible hours and work from home options (Typically one day a week in the office) Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team based in Wiltshire, to work on projects spanning a wide range of industries and products. You will work in a skilled and collaborative team and be expected to mentor more junior members, although there is no management responsibility beyond mentoring. This is an exciting opportunity to work on technically varied and challenging projects, with a company willing to train in areas you have limited experience.     What experience/skills you will need: Embedded microcontroller development C and C++ is desirable BS EN ISO 90001/safety related in one of MOD, Aerospace, Defence, Rail real time systems Object-Oriented design (UML,XML) Communication protocols/Internet Technologies (TCP/IP, Network sockets, HTTP, HTML) Software design and test Leading projects from cradle to grave Technical consultation with clients     What you’ll be doing    Joining the wider Engineering team with multi-project exposure, you’ll support the delivery of high-level projects across their global customer-base. You will work on a range of projects and might find you are having to learn new languages/skills, so a genuine interest in software development is required. The sales team will do most of the heavy lifting in securing projects and outlining requirements, but some client conversation will be needed to establish specifics/timelines.   What you’ll get in return for your experience    As well as a generous salary, this business advocate flexibility and work/life balance. Their core hours are 10am – 4pm and it’s expected you’ll come into the office once a week when restrictions lift for team meetings, other than that you can work from home as often as you’d like.     VP of Hardware

      London location Hands on Electronics Hardware focussed role Sustainable and innovative technology Our client is looking for VP of Hardware to lead the hands on development of EV charging equipment. The company is looking to upscale output and the role will have one direct report initially, but with exciting growth plans, this number is expected to rise as the year goes on. The company is 10 strong at the moment, so the VP of Hardware will be expected to work well in a small team and contribute to decisions beyond their normal work remit.   What experience/skills you will need: Schematic Design Firmware design/development System Design/system architecture layout Worked with consumer electronics PCB Layouts Digital and analog circuits design and test Prototype simulation   The Role: You will work on the design and development all hardware related systems for cutting edge EV charging technology. You will be extremely hands on and will across R+D projects and full scale manufacturing.
