What you'll be doing: Your responsibilities will involve managing and upgrading cloud infrastructure for their products and the Engineering team. Over the next 12 months, this will include: Building, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure for new and existing clients, working with the rest of the team to shape the next generation of conversation products. Configuring and maintaining development infrastructure, working with software engineers to build “DevOps best practice” and efficient processes. Monitoring and updating their infrastructure to ensure it stays secure and scales with the demands of a growing company. Being part of their on-call rota to support our engineering systems. What experience you will need to apply:   3-5 years of previous commercial Devops experience. Knowledge of AWS Cloud tooling with experience of building modern and secure commercial deployments. Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible. Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Experience administering Kubernetes clusters and awareness of Serverless technology. Wider experience with other cloud services such as GCP, Azure. No other infrastructure manufacturer will give you the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s leading electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft manufacturers. They are looking for a Software Engineer to join the CTO & Tech Lead and help us not only build a world-leading product but a world leading organisation. They are a small, highly capable and motivated team. You won’t be stuck behind a desk all day coding. You will have the opportunity to support our sites and partners all around the world by building highly-available & secure API integration's. What you'll be doing: Be responsible for the development of some of the core software platforms across the drone services business. You will be working closely in a cross-functional team with Senior Software Engineers, Product Managers and UI/UX Designers helping them to automate their testing strategies. Working together, they will be responsible for delivering development projects from start to completion. What you'll be doing: You will be working in a talented cross-functional team to launch new user-facing features. Defining test strategies for new features to ensure a high level of quality. Writing end-to-end tests for our code and services using Cypress. Coaching software engineers, helping them improve their testing skills. Participating in agile ceremonies; regularly and sustainably delivering value in two-week sprints. Understanding, applying and optimising appropriate test mechanisms (functional, regression, smoke) and tools to improve the verification efficiency through automation. You have 3-5 years of industrial experience in software testing. What experience you’ll need to apply?     Senior team management with proven experience of growing and supporting a team. Technical engineering project management experience, with experience in high value complex system project management. Degree-level in operations management or relevant field, or extensive relevant professional experience. Awareness of working within CDM and other applicable frameworks. Experience maintaining environmental principles throughout a project or supply chain, such as ISO 14001. Long-term professional experience in an operational position, with knowledge of systems engineering and construction projects and transferable skills to the farming sector. Knowledge of engineering procurement and construction contracts. Excellent written and verbal communicator. Able to manage internal and external relationships in a personable and supportive manner, with proven excellent customer services skills. Experience reviewing legal documents and able to draft them with legal support. Desirable: Experience in the Greenhouse sector.
