    Technical Lead

They put technology at the forefront of what they do - tapping into haptic, touch and augmented reality experiences, to produce engaging and immersive creatives for mobile.They create, distribute and optimise mobile campaigns at scale, allowing global brands to tell their stories in more compelling ways. What you'll be doing:They are looking for a Tech Lead ideally with strong JavaScript experience to join our small but expanding development team. React knowledge would be a distinct advantage but is not a necessity. They are looking for someone who will understand their problems and come up with creative solutions that work within the parameters of their system. They work in a very hands-on way and this role will operate in a split between both hands off management but also hands on coding. You will be responsible for: Helping to lead a team of eager developers building html5 JAM-applications, using Typescript and react on the frontend, and Typescript/Graphql on the backend. Developing and maintaining of backend server systems, DevOps and internal tools that ensure high code quality. Developing and maintaining of bespoke tools used in the creation and delivery of Ad Campaigns. What experience you will need to apply: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Equivalent work experience (4 years) will also be considered. Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Node services. Comfortable in Docker and AWS Solutions (such as Lambda, ECS, Firehose, among others). Experience modeling Database-Schemes in both SQL and NoSQL. What you'll be doing: Your responsibilities will involve managing and upgrading cloud infrastructure for their products and the Engineering team. Over the next 12 months, this will include: Building, configuring and maintaining cloud infrastructure for new and existing clients, working with the rest of the team to shape the next generation of conversation products. Configuring and maintaining development infrastructure, working with software engineers to build “DevOps best practice” and efficient processes. Monitoring and updating their infrastructure to ensure it stays secure and scales with the demands of a growing company. Being part of their on-call rota to support our engineering systems.   What experience you will need to apply:   3-5 years of previous commercial Devops experience. Knowledge of AWS Cloud tooling with experience of building modern and secure commercial deployments. Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible. Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Experience administering Kubernetes clusters and awareness of Serverless technology. Predominantly working with Kotlin but are happy with any functional programming background.  The system is a microservices architecture orchestrated via Kubernetes and hosted in Azure its an event-driven architecture with Kafka, enabling an event sourcing approach. A central authority for clear and concise information, they offer unrivalled breadth, scope and depth of data, bridging the gap between the crypto asset and traditional financial markets.What you'll be doing:As a part of their API team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and further development of the core APIs, which currently serve around 30 million calls per hour to an average of 1.5 million hourly unique users. With the team being small, the successful candidate will be hands on throughout the end-to-end delivery of updates and new features, being able to directly see the value added to users, and the company, from the features they create. Their API is a core company product generating revenue that they are actively pushing further through increased data quality and features, which also provides opportunities to liaise very closely with their customers.What experience you'll need to apply: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in back-end service/API development.     Exciting 3-month contract role working on a Greenfield project at a bio-tech.  Remote (with occasional visits to London).  Outside IR35 role.  My client are looking for a senior operations engineer for a 3 month contract to help bring their cloud ecosystem into the infrastructure-as-code future. The have an interesting eco-system of wet-lab robotics, machine learning, and software tools, and their goal is to be able to work with all of it via unified continuous deployment flows. They have just begun their ops journey and this is an exciting contract to help to build them a foundation that they can grow with. What you'll be doing: You will be reponsible for the design and rollout our first implementations of IaC and CI/CD for the IaC’d parts of the infrastructure. You will help to bring the existing engineering team up to speed on IaC techniques. You will help bootstrap hardware virtualization and VM CI/CD for their wet-lab robotics platform. You will ensure they have a good baseline for backups, log centralization, and disaster recovery planning. What experience you will need to apply: 7 years experience as an operations engineer with experience in technical leadership positions. Experience with: GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Modern CI/CD pipelines and gitops workflows (e.g. Concourse). Development and scripting in python 3 and bash. Production VMware vSphere & Windows image builds and NAS management.
