— Delivery and Support Lead for a sustainable agriculture start-up

Working in central Bristol, you would be part of an ambitious and purpose-driven team who work within the sustainable agriculture sector. This is a senior management role for someone who wants to grow a team within a new department. You will be responsible for the delivery of sustainable agriculture products and the ongoing support to customer projects across the UK and internationally.
What you'll be doing:
Growing and supporting a team within a new department. With your team you will deliver products in an organised, safe, and timely manner.
Integral member of the senior management team, including meetings, provision of logistical information and contributing to high-level decision making. You will work closely with both the founding team and the Board
You will oversee bespoke customer hardware and software product delivery for concurrent projects throughout the UK and internationally. This will include post-delivery support.
You will organise and oversee the delivery and success of customer projects from client relations to production, assembly, installation, and after-care. You will communicate realistic installation timelines and provide important logistical information to commercial, product and financial personnel.
In charge of designing and building customer support and maintenance teams alongside working with key strategic partners.
Devise and oversee long-term delivery strategy and ensure its’ success.
design and implement strategies to deliver profitable ongoing operations, maintenance, and customer support services.
Build and maintain positive and trusting relationships with all customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Manage products on-time and on-budget whilst ensuring all operational processes and supply chains are true to the core values of the business.
What experience you’ll need to apply?
Senior team management with proven experience of growing and supporting a team.
Technical engineering project management experience, with experience in high value complex system project management.
Degree-level in operations management or relevant field, or extensive relevant professional experience.
Awareness of working within CDM and other applicable frameworks.
Experience maintaining environmental principles throughout a project or supply chain, such as ISO 14001.
Long-term professional experience in an operational position, with knowledge of systems engineering and construction projects and transferable skills to the farming sector.
Knowledge of engineering procurement and construction contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communicator. Able to manage internal and external relationships in a personable and supportive manner, with proven excellent customer services skills.
Experience reviewing legal documents and able to draft them with legal support.
Desirable: Experience in the Greenhouse sector.
