    Senior Software Engineer

This is the opportunity to join a small but international company as they further develop their automated financial CRM. Having just been through series A funding there in a prime position to grow out the team. What you’ll be doing Working with cutting-edge technology, and a team eager to find even better approaches you'll help to further develop the platform and suggest new practices. You'll be reporting directly to the CTO who is very agnostic with your skills coming in. Predominantly working with Kotlin but are happy with any functional programming background. The system is a microservices architecture orchestrated via Kubernetes and hosted in Azure its an event-driven architecture with Kafka, enabling an event sourcing approach. So we are looking so someone who is an expert in either microservices or event-driven Architecture, although, a strong passion will suffice! The teams are small, cross-functional, DevOps teams working with pair programming with a strong focus on automation to reduce cycle time and a philosophy of keeping things as simple as they can be. What experience you’ll need to apply Expertise in event-driven architecture or microservices. An opportunity to be involved in various projects from early-stage proofs-of-concept using emerging technologies, tools, and languages right through to full lifecycle product development.   What you’ll be doing As a Senior or Principal Systems Engineer, you will be involved in the concept, design, specification, development of innovative and complex encryption and cyber security solutions. You will also need to be familiar with the development of cyber security capabilities, with a good understanding of the National Cyber Security Centre's high assurance evaluation processes and associated standards.   What experience you’ll need to apply Applied cryptography. Cyber Security system design. Analysis of High Assurance architectural components. Security functions across COTS and bespoke technology components. Network communications security protocols (IPSec, IKEv2, ESP & PRIME.)   What you’ll get in return for your experience On top of a salary paying up to £60K, you’ll have private healthcare, a bonus scheme as well as away days, a generous pension and 25 days annual leave and more.
