We’re looking for a Senior Digital Designer to join a creative digital agency in Oxfordshire. With an impressive portfolio of clients this agency delivers creative across a range of digital disciplines, all from a beautiful studio location. What you'll be doing Reporting into the Creative Services Director, you’ll play a core part of leading the creative output for the agency as part of this small, talented team. There’s huge opportunity here with an existing portfolio of household names, so you’ll be leading on some exciting digital projects from the word go. In this role you’ll be working on a variety of digital briefs from responsive web to digital campaign, online reports and motion graphics. Being a digital first creative agency, a user centred approach is essential to bring to the table. You’ll pair knowledge of UX principles with pixel perfect design craft to produce digital solutions for multiple platforms, that will include responsive solutions that are both web and mobile friendly. You’ll play a pivotal part of the agency’s offering, presenting ideas directly to clients and senior stakeholders alike, along with inspiring their in-house Midweight Designer. You’ll naturally put your ideas to paper, visualising your ideas through sketches and scamps, with the ability to bring people on board with an engaging approach. The agency produces a high volume of engaging motion content so ideally, you’ll have some experience storyboarding to visualise concepts to pass on to motion specialists. We’re looking for a digitally savvy designer, who’s both conceptual and process driven, who’s up to date with the latest technology trends and always pushing for innovation. Due to COVID the team are working mostly remote, but eventually will be looking to move back to the studio full time. What experience you’ll need Commercial background in digital design within an agency environment. Knowledge of user centred design principles and modern user interface design standards. A portfolio full of digital designs (inc. responsive web, web apps and campaign.) Examples showcasing your concept workings i.e sketches and scamps. Confident guiding or mentoring junior designers. Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud. Experience leading on briefs and presenting ideas to clients. Familiarity with storyboarding for motion design / animation. After Effects skills also desirable but not essential. We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join a product team in Nottingham. This multidisciplinary design role will be part of a highly successful and rapidly growing health tech business. What you’ll be doing Started 15 years ago and with over 400,000 active users per month you’ll be stepping in to lead the design and UX for an already very successful product. Taking over the reins of the founder you’ll focus on delivering a great user experience for their native Android & IOS app. You’ll be working closely with a team of developers and product people to create and test new functionality as well as to streamline existing journeys. Currently the app focuses on healthy eating but there are opportunities to diversify and offer new health and fitness features to their audience, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to push the product forward alongside an ambitious team. As the sole designer you’ll need to be confident creating mobile and web design concepts, wireframes and prototypes to test with users (predominantly A/B testing) then carry through solutions to high fidelity visuals. Your focus will largely be around the native app but you’ll also support across the website and help to develop the companies brand guidelines for digital overall. What experience you’ll need Previous experience in a design role working on native mobile applications (Android / IOS), preferably on subscription-based services. We’re looking for a Midweight Design Thinker to work on complex and fascinating service design projects. This role will involve user experience design, service design and design strategy. What you’ll be doing The Design Thinker will join a central team of user centred design specialists tackling real world problems in healthcare, agriculture, sustainability, disaster relief and more. As part of the user centred design team you will work closely with organisations of all kinds; start-ups, SME’s, government organisations and established multinationals. This position requires a multifaceted designer with skills in research and discovery, interaction design, user centred testing and prototyping. Though we’re looking for someone with design skills (see requirements below) we’re not fussy on the route you took to get there; whether it’s service design, psychology, research, industrial, product design or something else entirely. We won’t be focussed on specific education or sector experience per se, it’ll be more about your approach to problem solving, collaboration and storytelling.   In this role you can expect to work collaboratively with business owners, technologists and developers, non-technical stakeholders and niche industry specialists. You will champion design thinking with clients and spend time workshopping with people from all manner of backgrounds. You will capture user requirements and translate these into design specifications, supporting the development of new services that make use of the latest technology. As a senior you’ll be confident leading on projects and engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. What experience you’ll need Experience in a design related field be it service design, user experience, industrial design, human factors or other related subjects. Experience in creating and conducting both evaluative and generative research. Visual design skills and the ability to produce prototypes; the client is not fussy on the tools you use but you’ll need to be able to communicate visually and prototype possible solutions.   An expert in design thinking and user centred design practice. You’ll know when to work lean but your knowledge will give you the ability to follow a robust human centred design process. What you’ll be doing The agency delivers everything from integrated marketing, strategy, lead generation, web design and build, branding, product comms and digital campaign. As their in-house UX / UI Designer you’ll partner with their global client and focus on creating web, app and digital comms from concept to execution. You’ll report into the Head of Digital and collaborate with talented developers, animators, account handlers, PM’s and other creatives. You'll take your designs through wireframing and prototyping before jumping into high fidelity work, and will be encouraged to assist in usability testing to validate your own designs.
